My tool is ecophysiological earth observation. My team and I deploy satellite or field phenotyping remote sensing methods and connect the resulting data with environmental data to investigate plant-environment interactions. Ultimately, we aim to produce actionable information that can guide decision making for various stakeholders.
While my background is natural sciences, I am well aware that it takes more than just providing technical solutions to tackle the challenges we face. Thus, I work together with advisory offices and policy makers to help bridging the gap between science and application.
